How to Unlock Endings

There are five unique endings in Nier Replicant ver.1.22474487139 and in order to see each of them you will need to complete the game at least three times meeting the indicated requirement for the corresponding ending. Listed below are the endings and what you need to do to unlock them.

Ending A:

Complete the story as normal. Save the game to create a Clear Data save file. This is the default ending and subsequent reloads of this save file will start you at the halfway point of the game.

Ending B:

Reload your Ending A - Clear Data save file to begin the second half of the main story. Complete the game as normal, you will see new cutscenes.

Ending C:

Complete both Ending A + B, and collect all 30 weapons. When you defeat the final boss you will be taken to a new final boss you need to defeat. Once you accomplish this you will be given two options. Select the option to kill him.

Ending D:

Identical to Ending C except to get this ending you need to select the bottom option which is to spare him. It is important to be aware that this will show you Ending D but will also delete your save file.

Ending E:

This ending is only available after getting Ending D and deleting your save file. Start a new game with a different name and play normally until the fight against the huge shade in The Aerie where you recruit Kaine. The remainder of the game will play out differently with a new story and cutscenes and lead up to a new ending.
