NERF Legends Cheats, Tips Strategy
Below is a collection of hints and tips that will help you to progress in the game. These include why you should build multiple loadouts and how to defeat enemies easily:
Play the Tutorials
Although NERF Legends is a straight forward game to pick up, it is still recommended that you take the time to go through the two optional training modes the game offers, as these short tutorials will make you aware of the finer gameplay mechanics you should be aware of that are not immediately obvious. The movement tutorial is particularly useful as it teaches you how to jump, double jump, and navigate through stages, which are essential things you need to know.
Build Multiple Loadouts
It is recommended that you build multiple loadouts for the different styles of play in NERF Legends. Some stages focus on arena battles while others focus on traversal and puzzles, having a loadout available that reflects the stage will help you considerably. You will be given the option to customize your loadout before you start a stage, each loadout can have three weapons and a melee weapon. Most of the weapons will have to be unlocked first before you can use them.
Focus on the Objectives
Make sure you pay attention to the objectives you are given in NERF Legends and focus on completing them before the enemies can swarm you. It is crucial that you try to complete them as quickly as possible, as some stages have enemies that continue to spawn in until the objective has been completed. There is an objective indicator on-screen guiding you where to go next, and you will also receive on-screen prompts that will also help you.
Collect the Power-Ups
As you progress through the different stages of NERF Legends, you will come across different types of power-ups. Make sure you collect these power-ups, as they will help you considerably to get past certain stages. For example, picking up the homing power up will enable you to easily get past the section where you bounce across pads while trying to take down turrets, as it will enable your NERF darts to automatically target the nearest enemy. You will be able to identify the different types of power ups by their unique icon.
Don't Forget your Melee Weapon
One of the more powerful weapons in the game is your melee weapon which tends to get forgotten about due to the large arsenal of NERF guns that are on offer. You start NERF Legends with a basic melee blade but can eventually get a spear and a sword-type NERF weapon. Always use your melee weapon between shots or reloads, it's strong and fast and deals decent damage.
Target Enemy Weak Spots
You will be able to take down most of the enemies you encounter in NERF Legends without too much difficulty. In order to destroy the bigger and tougher baddies, such as the large robot crabs, you will need to target their glowing weak spots. When you hit those areas, you will deal a significant amount of damage and often break their shield. The key to being successful in NERF Legends is to obtain as many points and multipliers as possible. The best strategy in order to do this is to defeat the enemies you encounter as quickly as you can, and the easiest way in which to do this is to target their glowing weak spots.
Look For Health Pickups
You will take a lot of damage in NERF Legends, so it is essential that you keep an eye out for the health pickups that are scattered all over the place, as they will help you to replenish your health, which can go from 100-0 relatively quickly if you get hit. Health Pickups are identified by a yellow icon. If you are running low on health and there is no health pickup nearby, be sure to use your energy shield to deflect incoming attacks until you stumble across one. If you are killed before reaching a health pickup, you will have to restart that gameplay section.
