One of your key abilities in the Reapers' Game is to scan your environment, displaying the thoughts of people around Shibuya, as well as making Noise symbols visible. Take advantage of this ability in each area to defeat the enemies in order to level up and earn money. The best way to do this quickly is to initiate Chain Battles by touching multiple Noise symbols. Chain Battles pits you against a series of enemies back-to-back, with no downtime to heal or switch up your Pins. Chain Battles are also a good way to farm Pins as it increases their drop rate.

Doing this will bring up the game's menu where you can then save your progress by navigating to 'Save' select a slot then hit confirm to save your file. You can manually save to up to 9 save files.

Master How to Dodge Attacks and Counter

Mastering how to effectively dodge enemy attacks in battle will help you considerably in Neo: The World Ends With You, as taking as little damage as possible will increase the amount of Pins you are rewarded after a battle. Taking no damage will maximize your Pin Point (PP) gain. If you can observe your enemy's behavior and attack patterns before a battle, you will know how to dodge and place yourself in a position to deliver a counter-attack that will punish your foe before they can recover.

Don't Save Money

In Neo: The World Ends With You, it is more beneficial to spend the money you earn as soon as you can rather than save it. As you progress through the game you will be continuously earning money and whenever you have the opportunity you should stop at a store and see if there is any gear, Pins or upgrades that you can purchase that will make you a formidable opponent. Your characters can wear any gear regardless of style, but it is worth remembering that you can get stat bonuses for wearing items from the same brand, which is something worth taking into consideration.
