Make sure you do quests early in a match. You get quests from the golden scrolls floating on the ground. If you get close to it you will be able to see the objective which are quite simple and worth doing to claim the reward they offer. The objective location is automatically marked on your map, and it is usually close to where you found the golden scroll.
Keep an eye out for scenery items such as crates during a match as these items can be broken and there is a possibility there will be a reward hidden inside. If you are lucky you will find healing items and loot. You may also find some money which you can then spend at the vendor during matches. Destroying items in the scenery will not damage your weapons' durability.
It is inevitable that you will be take down often in Naraka Bladepoint. It's part of the learning curve, but at the very least, you won't be penalized equipment in your inventory - this includes weapons, souljades, and any other items. That is unless your teammates don't get to revive you in time before the countdown ends.
Talents will become unlocked once your character reaches level 4. This will be a new tab in the main menu which will enable you to start equipping Glyphs which will strengthen the character's stats. At this tab you will eventually be able to switch some of their skills. You will be able to get to level 4 easily in Naraka Bladepoint by playing a couple of matches and completing daily quests.
Souljades in Naraka Bladepoint can be either looted or purchased from the vendor during matches. It is essential that you collect Souljades whenever possible as they are upgrades that can impact your attack damage and defense against melee or range impacts. They can also speed up repair time. Always make sure to look for better versions of the Souljade you have.
