Moving Out 2 Cheats and Tips

Moving Out 2 Cheats and Tips

If you are playing this wacky moving simulator, then hopefully these top tips will come in handy, here's what we've got.

Create easier paths by breaking doors

Whenever you're playing Moving Out 2, the goal is for you to work together and move furniture outside of the building cooperatively. There's going to be a lot of back and forth, and moving furniture might have some obstacles along the way. One of the basic things you can do when playing is to create an easy path that you can move through.

You'll notice that doors in the game open and close as you pass through it, this can slow you down and cause a hindrance later on. You can easily pass through these areas if you destroy the doors instead. Try to hit the edge of the door and go across the path so they get pulled from the hinge. This can make moving easier for you.

Try moving multiple items at once

The items that you need to bring to your moving truck can vary in terms of size. For example, you can have items such as radios, books, shelves, and beds that need to be moved. There are items that are big and they have a big surface area such as a bed, so why not place other items on top of it before moving?

You can use big items that are wide as a tray of sorts. For example, you can use the bed and place other small items on top of it before pulling it out to your moving area. This will save you more time as well since you are reducing the number of items you'll have to get out.

Use long jumps when needed

There can be stages that will look like a grid, and they'll have varying heights. You might wonder if you will need to climb each one in order to get across, but some of these squares will have the same height as well. If you see platforms across you that are the same height, use long jumps in order to get across.

Going back to the grid formation, you can jump across diagonally within a square for easier access. There will also be some floating platforms in certain stages that have a big gap, so use a long jump in order to get across. You can also give your character a running start in order to gain some momentum before jumping.

Use furniture to reach higher spaces

There may be instances where you'll need to reach a higher area, but you cannot jump towards it. The items that you move around in the game such as bookshelves, ladders, etc. can be used in order for you to gain some height.

For example, some bookshelves on the wall can be jumped onto which will give you a higher area. You can also move some furniture towards the wall so you can use it to reach the higher space that you need to go to. You can experiment using different furniture in order to get more height.

Use the packages that you hold to reach ledges

There will be some stages in the game where you'll have to jump across a huge distance. You might think that your character may fall since it's too far, but you can actually use packages that you're holding in order to reach the other side.

When jumping across, make sure that your package is facing the next area you're about to jump to. Once you jump across, you can reach the edge of the platform using the package that you're holding, and then you can jump again after using your character to get back up properly.

Float through gaps

There will be instances where you need to go across platforms that are floating in water, or perhaps in the air in order to go to your next location such as your moving truck. If you bring furniture across, there might be instances where your character will fall through the gaps which will make things difficult.

Usually, you'll need to use the jump button to go to the next platform. One trick for you to go across safely is to spam the jump button instead when crossing, this can make your character somewhat float when moving. This is useful especially if you need to carry big furniture across such platforms, but take note that this only works on small gaps, not big ones.

When you see a lever, try to slap it

Usually, you'll think that you will need to pull a lever in order to use it, right? Some levers will activate platforms that you need to use, and you need to board that platform as quickly as possible. However, when pulling a lever, you will notice that it takes some time in order for you to reach the next area that you need to go to.

One way to use levers is to use your slapping action instead. This will provide you with a quick animation, and it will activate the lever all the way. You'll have enough time in order to reach the next spot, so use this to your advantage.

Spin around before tossing items

There may be some items that are quite big, and if you try to toss them to the next area, they won't reach properly. Since Moving Out 2 is a physics game, you can actually add some momentum to your tosses so you can reach further.

For example, if you're holding a large furniture item, try spinning your character around before tossing the object. The speed that you get from spinning around can help you toss items farther which will help you in reaching your moving truck at an easier rate.

Use hay as platforms for moving your cows

There's a stage in the game where you will have to move cows across the farm. This can be tricky because the cows will squirm constantly and sometimes the other animals on the field will bother you such as Rams headbutting.

The hay that you see around on the stage can be used as additional platforms in order to move the cows around. For example, you can pull your cow on top of a container as a step, and then use the hay as another step in order to go across fences. This can create new pathways that you can use when moving them towards your goal area.
