How to Perform Fatalities

Fatalities are the staple finishers in Mortal Kombat ever since its early days. Each character has two types of fatalities, one default and another that needs to be unlocked in the Krypt. Fatalities can only be performed in the last round in the game, after delivering the final blow to the losing player. Once "Finish Him/ Her" appears. During this time, the victor has a few seconds to execute the command for his/her character's fatality from the right distance. Hitting the dazed opponent by accident or leaving him/her dazed for a certain amount of time will end the sequence unspectacularly. You can practice these moves in the game's Training menu.
