Metroid Prime 3: Corruption for the Nintendo Wii by Nintendo and Retro Studio is the third and final game in the Metroid Prime trilogy. The events of Metroid Prime 3: Corruption takes place six months after the events of Metroid Prime 2: Echoes that was released for the Nintendo GameCube.
Metroid Prime 3 has one of most beautiful graphics on the Nintendo Wii and the graphics has aged well. The design of Samus, her gunship, the planets, and the enemies that Samus fights are well drawn. The graphics are one of the best in the Metroid franchise.
The soundtrack and sound effects are very good and they fit the atmosphere of Metroid Prime 3. The soundtrack is one of the best in the Metroid franchise, only third to Super Metroid for the Super Nintendo and Metroid Prime for the Nintendo GameCube.
The gameplay in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption is one of the best that I have played on the Nintendo Wii. Very few games that have been released on the Wii are actually better than Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. I got comfortable with the controls after a few minutes and very consistent with the first two Metroid Prime games.
I find myself playing Metriod Prime 3: Corruption at least 18 to 36 months after completing the game once I have actually beat the game. This would include the fact that it has Normal, Veteran and Hypermode difficulties. Plus you could go back and unlock the tokens that you didn't after your first run through.
Not only is Metroid Prime 3: Corruption one of the best games on the Nintendo Wii but it is also one of the best games in the Metroid franchise and a very good way to end the Metroid Prime trilogy. I recommend Metroid Prime 3: Corruption to anyone who owns a Nintendo Wii and anyone who is a fan of the Metroid franchise
