Introduction

This is my review of Metroid Other M. My main reason for submitting this is because many people have complained and said that this game is boring and incredibly easy. I found this game to pose several challenges and a great gameplay for Metroid. It even has a new view for people who do not like or cannot handle the arm cannon view series of Metroid, due to several problems the view causes like Migrane headaches.

Graphics

The graphics of this game are great. It shows the evolution of the game from the pixel Retro series for Gameboy, SNES, and the original for The Nintendo Entertainment System. It also has a new look from the standard cannon arm view from the Metroid Prime era. It now offers a full view of Samus which for some makes the newer Metroid games tolerable as some people have been known to suffer from Migranes, motion sickness, and a dissiness from the movments as well as being irritated from the failure to hit the enimies.

Sound

The sound quality is very deicent compaired to some of the older games where the music freezes, locks up, runs slowly, or otherwise just causes problems with the gamers experience playing. Some of the music can be quite annoying and een become annoying and frustrating if you encounter a difficult part of the game. Although some of it can be very interesting and may even be enjoyable.

Gameplay

Out of all the games so far in the Metroid franchise, Other M takes the cake with the best gameplay. With the new view many fans that could previously only handle the Pixel series because of the effects of the Arm cannon view can finally enjoy a new generation Metroid game. This provides an enhanced gaming experience and allows players to play for longer ammonts oftime without gaming side effects from playing too long thanks to the new view.

Lastability

The lastabillity is the biggest problem of the game. This is where most of the complaints come in as some of the bosses are considerably easy to defeat and hard core Metroid gamers are able to blow through the game. Athough some may find more of a challenge form this game, people who can submit large ammounts of their time to the game may find this to be an issue.

Overall

Overall the game is pretty much the best so far. Although many people have said that this game is a waste of time it is not and is considerably fun even if you may find yourself finishing the game considerably quick. This game is not as bad as it's been made out to be and can keep you busy for a while
