Matchpoint - Tennis Championships Cheats, Tips Strategy

Below is a collection of hints and tips that will help you to progress in the game. These include why you should start off by playing the tutorial and why you should mix up your shots during a game.

Play the Tutorial

It is recommended that before you embark on a career or go online in Matchpoint - Tennis Championships you first play through the tutorial. This step-by-step guide on how to play the game will provide you with all the fundamentals you need to know to competently play the game. You will not find advanced tactics or strategies here, they can be uncovered elsewhere in the game.

Sharpen your Skills with Practice and Training Modes

In Matchpoint - Tennis Championships there are two different ways in which you can improve your skills, these are Practice mode and Training mode. In Practice mode you train against a ball machine that shoots different types of shots at random intervals for you to hit, these include lobs and drop shots. In Training mode you choose an area of your game you want to improve and go through a series of exercises.

Mix Up your Shots

Don't keep playing the same shots, so you become predictable, once the opponent knows what you are going to do they can easily outsmart you. It is far better to play a variety of different shots and placements on the court to keep our opponent guessing. Go between the flat, top spin, and slice shots, hitting to the opposite side with each swing to cause your opponent to run back-and-forth. If the opponent comes to the net either play the lob shot over their head or send a powerful strike aimed toward the back of the court which, with enough power, will zoom past them.
