Scan Often for Collectibles
In Marvel's Spider-Man there are some collectible items hidden behind walls or crates which gives you random opportunites to get Tech Tokens mid-mission if you find them. If you press R3 during a mission you will send out a pulse that will highlight anything you can interact with. Make sure while you are exploring the city you regularly hit the scan button.
