Peter Parker, everyone's favorite web-slinger returns in Marvel's Spider-Man 2 to fights against super-powered villains that include Kraven the Hunter and the extraterrestrial Venom symbiote. Have a look at our cheats and tips to help Spider-Man combat these threats and restore order to his home city of New York. Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is exclusively available on PlayStation 5.

The cheats and tips below will help your game progression in Spider-Man 2.
Make sure Spider-Man uses his wingsuit to glide across the city quickly, especially if he is crossing the East River or exploring the lower-rise areas of Brooklyn and Queens.
You will be able to cover a lot of ground when Spider-Man uses the wingsuit, it is particularly useful if you use it to take advantage of the various wind tunnels that can be found spread across the city.
To begin with, it is recommended that you resist the temptation of tackling the side content you come across which typically involves taking down random criminals and instead focus on the main campaign. At the start of Marvel's Spider-Man 2 it is more beneficial to unlock as many abilities as you can as early as possible and gather collectibles.
The quickest way to cover a lot of distance in Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is by using the Slingshot Launch which will catapult you through the air towards your destination. For maximum effectiveness, Spider-Man needs to be slingin' off the top of a tall building.
The best ones are Oscorp Tower on the Upper West Side, the Avengers Tower in Midtown, and Freedom Tower in the Financial District. To perform the slingshot move you need to hold L2+X on your PlayStation controller.

Get the most out of the web shooters by spamming the R1 button on your PlayStation 5 controller in between punching and web-slinging. Spider-Man's web slingers are a versatile weapon that are handy for several things, these include slowing enemies down, temporarily disarming them, and sticking them to walls.
The Web Grabber is the best gadget Spider-Man has at his disposal in Marvel's Spider-Man 2 and you can upgrade it to make it even better. The Web Grabber is the perfect crowd-control tool as it pulls nearby enemies together into one area so you can unleash AoE attacks like Venom Smash and Spider Rush to deal big damage to multiple enemies. When upgraded the gadget can be even more effective pulling in even more enemies.
Initially, the Web Grabber grabs four nearby enemies but once you have farmed the necessary Tech Parts to upgrade it you will be able to pull in six nearby enemies along with environmental objects which can deal even more damage to the collected enemies.
Scattered throughout the city of New York are glowing blue crates that contain precious Tech Parts which you will need to upgrade Spider-Man's gadgets. It is important that you keep an eye out for these boxes which can typically be found on top of buildings and alleyways as finding them will enable you to unlock various suits and gadgets that bestow Peter Parker with awe-inspiring powers during his battles as Spider-Man.
Best Ways to Get Rare Tech Parts
The video below will show you how you can find a lot of rare tech parts to upgrade your suit techs and Gadgets in Marvel's Spiderman 2. There are 5 main ways to get rare tech parts.

In total, there are 8 Prowler Stashes scattered around New York to find in Marvel's Spider-Man 2. Each Prowler Stash you find will reward you with 300 XP and 3 Rare Tech Parts that can unlock Suits, Gadgets, and Suit Tech.
Finding all the Prowler Stashes will reward you with a specialist piece of Prowler tech that will power up your first melee attack while camouflaged. This massive Venom powered strike will knock enemies back and give you a head start in a big fight you're not going to stealth.
In order to unlock Fast Travel in Marvel's Spider-Man you have to reach the second node in the District Progress meter for the respective region of the map. To achieve this you will need to complete side-missions such as Prowler Stashes and acquire collectibles like Spider-Bots. Once you get the little city skyscraper icon with the green arrows filled in, you can fast travel to any point in that section of the map.
Keep in mind that Spider-Man will need to unlock fast travel in each area of the map before he can use it in that neighborhood, but once he does he will be able to teleport to that location instantly whenever he wants.
A new feature that has been added to Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is the ability to parry attacks. Early in the game, this mechanic can be ignored as the enemies you face don't hit hard and can be taken down quickly. Later in the game being competent at parrying the incoming attacks of bosses is essential to surviving boss fights and combat where you face multiple foes.
It is recommended that you practice parrying attacks early in the game against the weaker enemies so that you get the timing down for later in the game.
Skip Puzzles and Get Free Health
If you are finding it difficult to progress in Spider-Man 2 there are accessibility options available in the gameplay settings that can make things easier for you.
For instance, you can choose to have your health automatically refill when it reaches zero and skip certain puzzles if you are struggling to solve them. Don't hesitate to use these features if you get stuck.
Peter Parker's Spidey-Sense will help to keep him out of danger by warning you that you need to dodge incoming attacks immediately. When his Spidey-Sense is white you're in danger and when it's red you're about to be whacked with an incoming attack. Make sure you dodge the moment it's either red or white (or when it appears).

There are a total of 31 main story missions in Marvel's Spider-Man 2. This does not include any of the side stories and missions you stumble across as you swing through New York.
The game itself has four difficulty settings which you can change at any time if you are finding a particular section of the game too difficult to complete or even too easy. The four settings are listed below:
This is the easiest setting the game has to offer. In this mode, you cannot be knocked out in combat which makes it ideal if you want to focus more on the story and exploration.
This is another easy setting. This mode is for players who want easier combat but still retain the risk of being knocked out.
This is the standard difficulty setting for balanced combat.
This is a hard setting, for players who want a challenging and more difficult combat with higher stakes.
This is an extremely hard setting which will only become unlocked when you complete the main story.
