Introduction

MapleStory is an online 2-D MMORPG, but don't let the 2-D put you off! MapleStory is the first ever side-scrolling, 2-D MMORPG, and is hugely successful! In MapleStory you can get a currency called NX Cash, and you can buy items from the Cash Shop!!!

Graphics

For a 2-D game, the graphics are top-notch. Many people would look at this and say, "Hey!!! The graphics on this game are bland!!!" but they'd be wrong. MapleStory wasn't supposed to be 3-D, and they never intend to make it 3-D, so accept it.

Sound

The music is fine. It can get a bit annoying after a while, so I have taken off a point. The music can be relaxing if you haven't played RuneScape previously, as RuneScape's music gets quite annoying after about three minutes.

Gameplay

Top-notch. You can become a Warrior, Magician, Bowman or Thief. Each job has job advancements, so choose carefully! You can also go on quests and get secret quest items, some which are only available to a certain job.

Lastability

I still haven't grown bored of this game. You might get bored when you reach Level 80-something, but that's not the case for me, because the stronger you get, the better equipment and quests you can wield or use.

Overall

10/10, hands down. Oh! Did I forget to mention? MapleStory also has Buddy Lists, Parties and Guilds! I'd play MapleStory rather than RuneScape anyday. If you'd like to get MapleStory, go to http://www.maplestory.com.
