Focus on getting upgrades for the bow once you have unlocked it, as it is the most useful weapon you can unlock for Kena early in the game. The bow allows you to attack from distances, as well as hit weak points on bosses. One of the upgrades that will become available when you have the bow is the ability to slow down time, which will make it easier to make skill shots against moving targets. Even before you unlock the ability, you will still be able to slow down time. This will happen when you jump, and draw an arrow, during the time you are in the air time will slow down.
