How to Earn Karma to Upgrade Abilities
Karma in Kena: Bridge Of Spirits is an important currency that can be earned during the game through a variety of ways. It is important that you earn Karma, as it is needed to upgrade Kena's abilities. Listed below are the different methods, some of which are more efficient than others.
Flower Shrines
Flower Shrines are statues that are covered in corruption, but once you purify them they offer around 40 Karma or more each when you clear the corruption from them.
Memories
These are usually part of the story and will reward you around 40 Karma when you watch them.
Fallen Statues
There are two kinds of Fallen Statues - Cat and Owl, and they must either be righted by the Rot a certain way or moved to a specific location nearby. You will be able to see where the missing statue needs to be placed by looking for symbols on the ground that mark it's position. The amount of Karma you receive as a reward from Fallen Statues is not as much as Flower Shrines.
Fruit
When you feed your Rot fruit, you will earn Karma. You will get a couple of Karma each time for smaller fruit and 5 Karma for larger fruit.
Enemies
There is a chance you will earn Karma when you defeat an enemy, the amount you receive as a reward starts at 1 or 2 Karma.
Cursed Chests
When you complete a Cursed Chests' challenge you will be awarded Karma, the amount you receive will be determined by the chest and can be as low as 2 Karma.
Challenges
Occasionally during the game you will be presented with an optional challenge to complete, these opportunities are worthwhile tackling as they can earn you 10 Karma as a reward.
