At the start of Kena: Bridge Of Spirits, there will be a few combat abilities and upgrades available, which you can unlock by using Karma and increasing your Rot level. The best upgrade to invest in is Rot Hammer, as this weapon not only deals massive damage and enables you to close the distance between you and the enemy, but it can also interrupt powerful enemy attacks outright, which makes it useful when defending. Another upgrade you may want to consider unlocking straight away is Into the Fray ability, which allows you to start combat with 1 Rot Action available.
