Released on October 5, 2021, Jett: The Far Shore is a large, complex adventure game where you have to explore an alien planet. The game is divided into distinct sections and each one does take quite a bit of time to play through. We've gathered some of the best Jett: The Far Shore tips to try to get you on the right track for beginners to this beautful game.
1. Don't Rush!
It does take a bit of time to get to grips with how the game works, so don't dive in a rush everything at the beginning. Don't forget to utilise the slo-mo option (TAB/L1) to slow the game down a bit to make decision making a bit easier. Slowing the game down is especially useful if you are scanning resources in a small area.
2. Rush!
Okay I know we just said don't rush, but there are also times when you it's good to use your boosts. Using your 'pop' (Spacebar or X) will help you out with difficult longer jumps. One techniquie is to boost yourself infor the air then glide down, this should get you a longer distance.
3. Keep Scanning
A single scan of an area may not reveal what you are looking for right away, so it's good practice in Jett: The Far Shore to scan a lot in order to stand a better chance of finding things.
4. Take a Break
The game is very long and as you start each chapter the game will tell you mor or less how long it will take, these chapter changes are great opportunities to take a break from the game.
5. Collect Vapor
In order get more boosts, you'll need to collect vapor, make sure to always have enough to boost your Jeff whenever you want. Go behind other Jetts to collect any vapor they emit too.
Mix your vapor with the vapor of other creatures too for some intesting things.
