World of Warships Legends Cheats and Tips
In World of Warships Legends you take command of history's most iconic warships, all of which are recreated in accurate detail, and recruit legendary commanders, upgrade your vessels, and stake your claim to naval supremacy with or against players around the world.
- Study the Enemy/Allied List
You must study the enemy/allied list as soon as the game starts. You need to know how many destroyers, battleships, and cruisers there are and what kind they are.
You also need to know if you are top or bottom tier and whether there are divisions that are likely going to work together. Also, if there is a cruiser with Radar around.
- Know your Ship
You must know the capabilities of your ship and how it compares. Knowing your weaknesses is the first step in overcoming them. You can't play every ship the same in every situation.
- Look at the Map
Pay close attention to the map throughout the entire game and not just at the start. Make sure you are aware of the following as you play.
- What game mode is it?
- On what map? Where did you spawn?
- Who spawned with you?
- Are you on a weak flank or a numerically strong one?
- Has the enemy DD been spotted?
- How long ago? How many enemy ships are on this flank?
- Can you hold them with what you have or should you withdraw?
- What is your team doing?
- What do you need to do to cover your responsibilities and to perform as best as you can?
- Reduce your Damage
It is more important to reduce the damage you take than maxing out the damage you deal. The best strategy to achieve this is to point your bow at the enemy, even if this limits your firepower.
Doing this will mean using your consumables at the right time, don't put out the first fire on your ship, wait till two are burning. A single fire can be out-healed.
- Trading Hitpoints
The battle itself is all about trading HP (hitpoints) and if you only show your bow you will limit the amount of HP you take away. The reduction in HP you lose is even greater because those citadel hits hurt. Positioning is a key skill, slower vessels like battleships won't be able to change their route that often during a match.
If you are in command of a battleship you need to look where your team is going and take a route that won't end you in the crossfire of several ships. Don't stay too close to the edge of the islands unless you are sure there isn't someone with Torpedos waiting on the other side.
- Earn Elite XP
In World of Warships: Legends you can earn Elite XP in battles on premium and elite ships. A ship becomes elite once she obtains maximum XP on her progress line.

How to unlock the Brothers In Arms Achievement/Trophy
To get the Brothers In Arms achievement/trophy you must win a Standard battle and survive while part of a Division. In World of Warships: Legends a Division refers to a two or three player group which has been put together via the Social menu. You are the only one required to survive the battle in order to get the achievement/trophy. It is of no consequence if your Division teammmates are destroyed in the process, it must be you that survives.
How to get the Tinkering Aficionado Achievement/Trophy
To get the Tinkering Aficionado achievement/trophy you must install 6 upgrades or modifications in any combination on a single ship. You can do this by leveling up a Tier VI non-premium ship. Tier VI ships include 3 mod slots and 3 upgrade slots for a total of the needed 6. Filling up all the slots will require a considerable amount of XP and millions of credits. You can however speed up the process of gathering them by using Epic Credit Boosters.
Easy War Profiteerng Achievement/Trophy
To get the War Profiteering achievement/trophy you must win a standard battle and survive while also earning 200,000 credits. To give yourself the best chance of getting this achievement/trophy it is recommended that you use a Premium ship along with an Epic Credit Booster which you can create in the loadout screen by fusing 3 Rare Credit Boosters. If you do not have a Premium ship you will have no choice but to use the ship you are best with and the Epic Credit Booster and hope things fall your way during the game.
Easy Pyromaniac Achievement/Trophy
To get the Pyromaniac achievement/trophy you must set enemy ships on fire 7 times in a single Standard battle. The easiest way to do this is to use a ship like the Tier III British battleship which has a 40% chance to set fire. You can also change your commander perks to further increase the fire percentage.
How to get the Sleeping With The Fishes Achievement/Trophy
In order to get the Sleeping With The Fishes achievement/trophy you must destroy 50 enemy ships with your torpedoes in Standard battles. The easiest way to do this is to use destroyers as they tend to have more range and damage on their torpedoes than those on cruisers and some of the German battleships. Destroyers also have better camouflage which helps them to remain undetected while launching a spread. It is recommended that you choose a Japanese destroyer to attempt this achievement/trophy as they have the best combination of range and camo.
Easy Getting Your Feet Wet Achievement/Trophy
To obtain the Getting Your Feet Wet achievement/trophy you must survive and win any battle. The easiest way to do this is to load up a match against AI and play the round. You will most likely get this achievement/trophy on your first attempt as you will not be given difficult opposition to contend with.
How to get A Good Use Of Blueprints Achievement/Trophy
To get the A Good Use Of Blueprints achievement/trophy you must unlock and install all modificationns on a Tier VII American or British ship. As of November 2020 this can now be done with premium ships and you only need the first 4 upgrades, not all 7. At a cost of 5.6 million credits, four upgrades, plus the ship the Bismarck (German battleship) and Witchita (American cruiser) will unlock the A Good Use Of Blueprints achievement/trophy.
