                                I. INTRODUCTION
################################################################################

Temple Run is a game in which you control a treasure hunter who is escaping a
temple while being chased by hostile monkeys. You must slide and jump while
avoiding obstacles.

Download it from the iTunes App Store below:

                                 II. HOW TO PLAY
################################################################################

A note about an in-game tutorial
--------------------------------

To enable an in-game tutorial, go to the Options menu and enable tutorial. This
tutorial will walk you through the controls of the game, and then let you loose
on a level.

This tutorial will be far more instructive than this guide will be, but the
controls are below.

The controls
------------

* Swipe left - Turn left
* Swipe right - Turn right
* Swipe up - Jump
* Swipe down - Slide
* Tilt device left - Move to left side of lane
* Tilt device right - Move to left side of right

################################################################################
                                  III. STRATEGY
################################################################################

* The tutorial sometimes has you slied when you could've jumped (or vice-versa).
  Keep in mind that you can jump over fire and some other things.

* I always forget about sliding. Don't forget about sliding!

* To make sure that you grab all the coins when you're jumping, jump right as
  you pick up the final coin. I always used to jump too early until I figured
  this one out.

* Some areas, like on mossy rocks and wooden docks, don't have walls, and you
  can fall off the sides of them. Careful when tilting to pick up coins!

* Don't be greedy! I often run myself off the edge because I want money -- it's
  better to play it safe and get the money when it's less risky.

What do powerups do?
--------------------

* Coin powerups give you some extra coins when you pick it up -- think of it as
  a "supercoin." Upgrading this increases the amount of coins you get when you
  grab this.

* Coin Magnet powerups bring coins to you effortlessly while the powerup is
  active (it must be picked up). Upgrading this increases duration.

* Invisibility powerups make it so that you only have to worry about turns --
  your player is invincible and can walk on air. Upgrading this increases
  duration.

* 250m Boost powerups do the same, but they make you run faster. I'd say they're
  not as good as Invisibility because you have to worry about turns at a faster
  speed, and you'll miss coins along the way. Upgrading this increases duration.

* Double Value automatically makes some coins double the value. This is good if
  you consistently make it past 1000m, where this will take effect. Upgrading
  this increases liklihood that a coin will be double.

                                IV. STORE INVENTORY
################################################################################

Powerups
--------

* Enable the 50 coin powerup - 250 coins
* Enable the Coin Magnet powerup - 250 coins

Wallpapers
----------

* Temple Wall wallpaper - 5,000 coins
* Guy Dangerous wallpaper - 5,000 coins

Spending real money
-------------------

As of right now, the "exchange rate" from US dollars is as follows:

* 2,500 coins for $0.99 (~2,525 coins per dollar)
* 25,000 coins for $4.99 (~5,010 coins per dollar)
* 75,000 coins for $9.99 (~7,508 coins per dollar)
* 200,000 coins for $19.99 (~10,005 coins per dollar)

As you can see, it is a better deal to buy more coins at once (but why are you
spending any money on this game at all?).
