To check to see how good the Bitizen is you need to look at the colour-coordinated numbers they each have. The higher the number the better they will be at the job. If you have a store that is staffed with three '9' employees you will get a 25%+ discount on restocking fees.

Upgrade your suites so you are able to let guests have longer stays as long stays have big payoffs. Suites can be upgraded by tapping the floor and selecting 'Upgrade'.

Upgrade your floors whenever possible so they can hold more stock, this means you will have more coins and less restocking. Floors can be upgraded by tapping on it and selecting 'Upgrade'.
