A good tactic is to use a couple of slots for heavier firepower like firecrackers and a couple more for Band-Aids as these will come in useful when you need to heal your team.

It is important to place your units into cover whenever possible to keep them from taking damage. When there is not enough cover for all your forces use the units that are out in the open to flank your enemies.

You will be rewarded with new cards that will significantly bolster your deck and squad when you complete a mission.

The most effective and quickest way to eliminate enemies that you encounter that are in cover behind objects is to use cards such as Firecracker, Knife and Double Agent. To use these cards just tap on the card and drag it over to the intended target.

You will notice random briefcases scattered throughout each level, these are worth picking up as they yeild Experience points.

Makes sure you always play the temporary missions when they become available as they give you the opportunity to collect more resources and rewards which can then be used to upgrade your cards.

Before you take on a mission make sure you check out the sub-menu in your deck for power-ups and equip up to four cards before you begin it.

Soldiers will automatically fire at enemies that get in the way and although there is no way of making your units attack a specific target you can increase the chances of them attacking what you want by placing your troops as close as possible to an enemy that is doing damage.

A good strategy is to send your wounded units into battle first so they are able to reach cover faster.
