Whenever you upgrade your weapon make sure that you focus on the recommended areas by the game. Some of the missions you will be tackling will have specific requirements in term of stats and the game will automatically guide you to upgrade your weapon to meet those requirements. By following the games recommendations you will be using your weapon's full potential based on your current mission.
