Click the 'Item Shop' button located on the lower right of the screen before you go into battle and choose from a selection of Portal Master Powers which will function as power-ups during the game.
Providing you equip a character that matches the Element of the day you will receive a coin bonus each day you play Skylanders Battlegrounds. To equip a character that matches the Element of the day you have to press the icon on the top right portion of the screen and match the symbol with the correct Skylander. Skylanders can be switched by pressing one of the characters images on the lower left of the screen.
Enter the Secret Code provided with each figure on the Skylanders Bio screen if you do not want to spend gems unlocking a new Portal of Power peripheral to import your existing Skylanders collection.
Gems are earned by leveling up, unlocking blue treasure chests, and winning battles. They can also be purchased via the Gem Store.

No, it turns off automatically. If you press it it should turn on. It shouldn't be lit all of the time. I'm sure it's just a way to save battery life. |
