Scattered throughout the game you will come across numerous signs and symbols that have been dropped by Earth Mother for you to follow. Pay close attention to them as they will often refer to different items and people in the story and if you can deciper their meaning you will survive your reign of monach longer.

Try to complete as many of the challenges in the game as you can as doing so will not only add more cards to your deck but also add more content and the new parts of the story may open up useful paths.

Although there are many paths the queen can take there are also just as many for her enemies. You will know if you are about to die unles you can quickly resolve what has caused your downfall if you are approached at any point during the game by the King, Cardinal, or some other character and the only response you have available is 'What...'

A queen must rule with grace and wisdom and to be successful doing this you need to balance your decisions so you don't show too much of one type of personality as doing so will get you deposed or killed. You need to find the right balance between pleasing your subjects and letting them know who the ruler of the kingdom is.

Remember that the game takes place in medieval times and you are a lady so you need to think what the views were at the time and act accordingly. If for example you do not display the expected lady-like qualities of a queen you will antagonise the church who will accuse you of immoral acts.
