How do you unlock the paladin class?

Is it possible to unlock the paladin class? If so, how do you do it? Do you have to kill amaranth in the intro?

You cannot unlock the Paladin Class yet. He's just an introductory character. However, the developers are working on an update that will add the Paladin as a class, with a much harder difficulty. So just wait until they've finished and released it, and you'll be able to play as them.

Also, if you do actually manage to kill Amaranth in the intro, nothing happens and you'll just be stuck in the boss room. They didn't program anything to happen there because it's supposed to kill you. You can find videos of it on YouTube.
