I have bought all of the coin clothes in Las Vegas (including Bambalina) and Las Angeles and I still don't have the 220 wardrobe size needed to unlock the first shop in New York. How do I unlock it? Please help if you can!

You can also get your boyfriend to give you gifts, a way to get gifts faster is by changing your time 3 hours later so you can kiss him again. Try doing some quests to get more cash to buy clothes.
