How do I find a cage troll?

I've traveled around my world an explored all of the caves but I still can't find a cave troll! Is there one on every world?

You have to dig REALLY deep,almost close to the center of the earth and rarely,there are cave trolls.There MIGHT be one,not saying there's ALWAYS going to be one.

In your world it has to be 1 or 2 cave trolls you need to go near the center of the world and try to find it

I already found and killed a handful of trolls using a golden arrow. I never tried a melee attack even with an iron sword because trolls are very hard to kill, and they can dish out very heavy damage. My strategy: since trolls cannot walk into a gap of one block, I usually brick myself in as close to the troll's lair as possible, typically within shooting range of the golden arrow. I leave a one block window to shoot from, and I just let them arrows fly until the troll is dead.

Where to find trolls: they are quite rare, but are usually found in long, wide caves near the center of the earth.
