I haven't got the shaggy dog, but as a free gift today I got a bunny which hops on both grass and road. To stop him bouncing, I tapped on him then tapped again but held it like you do with stalls. I think this may work with shaggy dog but I'm not quite sure as I don't own it. Hope this helps!!!!!
