I've sent out dye rafts multiple time to complete the quest to make the captain a new hat but nothing happens!!! What do I do?

On the menu where it tells you how long to take you're rafts out for at the bottom it also says what for it's a 24 hr raft trip it should be the last time slot at the end of the raft menue
Did you ever get a fix to this? I'm having the same problem! Multiple rafts, 24hr dye, and quest won't clear.
Did anyone figure this out? I’ve sent out every raft at the same time including the dye ones and the task won’t clear?
