Just put launch and nitros at the same timeππππ
Sounds like you are getting wheel spin every time you launch, try to never launch when the shift light is red. Like the previous answerer if you have nitrous just hit launch and no2 at the same time, don't even worry about the throttle
There are several ways to launch in racing rivals. I will explain the 2 ways that I favour. The first, which is the one I use most often, is to tap the gas and keep the rpms in the range that makes the light turn green, I usually try to hover slightly below as hitting it above the rpms in the red causes wheel spin and really kills the race adding on about 2 seconds to your race time, this can be especially horrid if you are doing a pinks race. The second way that you can launch is by holding the throttle all the way down and letting go when you have 2 yellow lights, if done properly the rpms should have dropped down right into the green zone at launch. I find the tapping way easier but some prefer that method. Furthermore I would not recommend using the nos before second or third gear as it just makes the first couple shifts almost impossible to hit perfect, and perfect shifts give you a slight boost forward each time you hit one. Perfect launches of the start give you a huuuge boost and give you an insane advantage and can easily make a pos car beat a much better one if the other driver is not as proficient with launches and shifts. Also I have noticed it gives you a bit of time into the red zone of the rpms to still hit a perfect shift, I often jump the gun and hit the shift just before which causes you to lose out on perfect shift money bonuses. This is not necessary as like I said there is a slight delay before the shift light turns red and it becomes a late shift so you can hold off for a millisecond or 2 and still perfect shift. If you want to be able to hold the throttle down all the way and launch with the rpms maxed then get the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X and upgrade the grip to max, it will literally never get tire spin because the grip is so high. I hope that helps!
