If you play lots of people who are not very good you will amass a lot of points
Right now I have 115,754. I started playing in late March of this year. It's a great thing to do when so many places are shut down. Only about 28,000 points are from adding people. I do play a lot and have around 26 regular opponents. Only about ten are equal to my skill level. Just last week I've started some tournaments. I think that adds a lot to your score too.

If you star a term, then turn the game to "starred" in the settings at the start of the game. You will only have to answer the starred ones that you chose. So I picked one term, copied the answer with ctrl c, then put it on hard for extra points. I spammed ctrl v and enter as fast as I could. After about 10 mins I was at 2,160,00 points and at level 44.
I have 192,219 rockets as at 9th April 2021.
And answered 1,182 questions correctly in a row.
I have 146,529 accumulated over 15 months. The problem is that there are very few people who are willing to challenge me or accept s challenge from me. 😕
The answer depends on what score you mean: the longest correct answer run (47 for me), or the overall points score (just over 33 thousand here).
I'm just under 85.000 I only play a couple of friends been playing for about 3 years thought I had a high score until I read some of the answers below ...wow 235k and 135k very good 💯👍
I stand at 18,18,630 as of now. I don't know who really has gone above that. I really would love if the app displays top scorers of the world, country, state etc. If it can.
I've just surpassed 600,000 rockets without cheating. I add players often and that boosts my score. Plus I'm rather smart.
