What are the x's that come on the squars in the far future. They don't seem to do anything.

Squars in far future have x. Appear on them what do they do?

Any plants on the same colored x-squares will ALL perform their superpower when you use a Plant Food on any one of them. For example, if you have a corn plant on 3 green squares. And you select a Plant Food then touch one of the corn plants on a square, all 3 plants will launch butter squares and stop all the zombies on the board.
