When your pet is adult (mature? Four stars), you can breed for example adult Anolly with other anolly from adoption agency by clicking on egg (which is on the left from your monster stars). You have three Anollys to choose- one have 100% chance to breed, one maybe 60% or something like that and the last under 50% of chance (I don't remember, but I think it's similar). You choose one, and then if you didn't choose 100% chance monster you have chance that monsters won't "like each other" and they won't breed. But they often like each other and breed, and if you choose the 100% chance they will breed for sure. You will have an Anolly egg now (but Anolly is for example, of course).
