What does the ' feautured monsters' do?

Feautured monsters are just a way to keep matured monsters without having them in a habitat. That way you can grow new monsters without getting rid of the mature ones.
Feautured monsters go into the window. The window is practically another habitat. Unfortuneatley only mature monsters go in the window. But, you can earn a small profit from them. How to know, it's easy. When you get on next time it will say, "Feautured monsters earned _ coins." _ as in what profit you got.
