Ignore the path upwards mostly, the doors after level 30 are way to expensive key wise. Just steal from other players as their dungeons are usually laughably easy and there's a good chance you'll get up to 10k goldfrom one plus a good chance at gems and experience.
Well first of all it's quite simple to get money, but tips for getting easy money Is to start of with upgrading merchant. This process can be simple if your base is good at skulling, but can get a little pricey, if not. Also try to upgrade skull gold bonus as this will further improve your gold.
