Just bought a player and has gone to the reserves but I cannot get the player to my first 11 and not sure how to sell players?

You need to highlight the player from the reserve list and then also highlight the player you want to swap him for off the subs bench. When these two players are highlighted the swap icon 🔄 will light up to allow you to rotate the players.
To sell a player all you need to do is touch him to bring up his stats and a 💲should be there to push and that will put your player on the market.
Just a little advice on that though. If you are early days in the game then you should try to keep hold of as many players as you can to allow you to rotate your squad more as fatigue takes it's toll on your players at the end of the season!
