At the real Comic Con they announced a Family Guy and Simpsons Cross-Over event for the shows.
Being a longtime player of Tapped out I know that they will have some sort of in-game connection to the special haloween Treehouse of horror event slash tv show thingy for sure, so what are they going to do in Quest for Stuff?

The special cross-over show is actually on Sunday, 28 September, and not on Halloween - so it is not going to have anything to do with Treehouse of Horror or the traditional event for Halloween.
If we have to guess - and it seems we do thanks to your question - what we expect will happen is pretty much what was shown at Comic Con in real life: a mixture of the current generation of both shows and the animation from vintage Tracy Ulman show.
