Where did all my characters go?
I unlocked the characters for the event, and just had some minor quests to get done, but they are all gone now? What gives?

What you have to understand is that just because you flagged them into your game does not mean you actually obtained them. To fully add them to your game you needed to complete the tasks to collect all of the objects that each requires to be fully unlocked. Until that happened, they were never yours.
The good news is that you can still get Iron baby and Stripper Bonnie as long as you flagged them before the event ended. In other words the wizards at Tiny Co extended the timers for THOSE two specifically.
Sadly the same is not the case with the others - particularly the flagpole Characters. If you did not fully unlock them then before the event ended you cannot get them.
