What is the Best/Better Class?

Hello, I'm new to this game (Chroisen 2, not 1. I can't find the thread for Chroisen 2), and I'm wondering which class should I choose?

I can't decide between the four of them, and I only got 2 slots for save files... All the classes look cool...

If your looking for a HARD char.. Go for the TEMPLAR..
If your looking for the crit type.. Go for the FIGHTER.. But the defense is not that good.. It depends on your equipment.
If your looking a damage type.. Go for the SLASHer.. And the wizard.. But the defense of the wizard is not that good.. Rather than the slasher...

Slasher crasher apocalypse. The name apocalypse suits the job. Trust me. Dealing 200k damage at lvl 61? Great right? And for the awakening. 1 hit of ur skill can literally take half the life of a lvl 90 dungeon boss.

Hi my game ID is The25thBam and my 2 slot character is a magician. You know why? It's because I think magician is the best, I thought the best class change is Summoner, but the real is the Heretic because it's got some massive skill and the demage is awesome too. I think the best is magician, but for starter I suggest use the Slasher, thx for read my comment. ~The25thBam~ [ Best Magician ]

i think the Grappler was best. well this grappler skill can cancel boss attacks
ToModaChi answered:

*The Templar is not exactly the most 'balanced' class. The Templar has a higher HP and DEF pool at the beginning of the game. His second class, the Silver Knight is very, very Tanky. You can easily withstand attacks from level 70 monsters even though you're only level 50-ish except against Magic-using monsters ( But it will be next to impossible to kill these monsters without the proper stats and weapons. ).
*The Slasher does great damage indeed, but he has to make it up for with a very slow attack speed and average accuracy. His DEF is not the weakest, but it's also not something to be impressed at either. Pumping some stats into CON and occasionally into DEX should patch this weak spot accordingly. His second class, either the Warrior, Berserker or Crasher does even more impressive damage and if your stats are distributed enough, this class is very impressive. He also has a default dash that bashes your enemies. This is very useful against bosses since it disrupts them when they're trying to cast spells that are very damaging. ( Spamming Attack - Attack - Bash - Attack - Attack should make boss fights a breeze. )
*The Magician is somehow my least favourite class. He has a very low survivability which indirectly makes it slower for you to level up and harder to kill stronger monsters. But on the other hand, he has next to infinity mana source due to his skill especially once you've Advanced into the Wizard ( or was it the Warlock? ). His Magic Damage is highly damaging and exceptional since the game doesn't have anything that decreases Magic Damage. Once you've advanced your class, the Magic Damage you dish out should be able to take out the monsters before they're able to do anything especially if you're a Heretic. But during the period of advancing your class, it could be hell.
*The Fighter . Easily my #1 class. His HP,DEF and Physical Attacks ain't much to compare to the other classes since it's all somewhat, average. But his DPS ( Attack Speed ) and CRIT Rate is just so good. I find that I'm able to level up much, much faster with this class ( I even skipped his basic skills except the passive one which increases your CRIT just to save up all those skill points for his Advanced Skills and I find no problem at all in leveling and killing bosses with just normal attacks ). His second class, the Grappler does skills that damages all the enemy on the map at once with 1000+ damage even at low skill levels ( This does not include when your skills CRIT which increases your skill damage as well ). Not to mention every one of the skills disrupts enemies when they're trying to cast a spell which is extremely useful especially againts bosses. The Rogue(Assassin) dishes huge amount of spike with his Dagger Throw that can easily 1-hit monsters of your level. He also has a 4-way AOE version of Dagger Throw in case you're overwhelmed. ( Both of these skills poison enemies , which is nice ). Since the Fighter is basically not a class that's meant to soak up damage, the Rogue can still easily die in boss fights. His Advanced Skill also does not have disruptive skills like the Grappler so make sure you pump most of your stats into DEX which increases your Dodge Rate to sync with his Dodge skill while also increasing your CRIT Rate.
P/S : Sorry for my bad English and hope it helps you even though I'm a little late in providing an answer.

I tried using all 4 characters and personally, I would vouch for the Slasher-Crasher-Apocalypse class. It's simply overwhelming even with trashy equips. All Crasher skills are AoE based and what more is that once you awakened to the Apocalypse, trust me, your 2 new skills dishes damage all through out the map. No exhageration dude. The whole map gets hit by Earthquake and Tempest. Try it. I awakened my Apocalypse at lvl59. My stat distribution is always 2 STR and 1 CON for damage and def+hp. So far with average equips monsters with my same level damages me by just 1dmg per hit. No joking bro. What more once I get better equips.

Well I think Fighter - Grappler - Quaker is the best bro.
It has great AoE and distruptive skills.
I can even finish SATAN with just the 4 active skills of Grappler. And 2 of the 4 can wipe out a map which is great for dungeon and grinding levels. Also for the awakened skill, full Aoe!

Mage-Heretic-Hellbringer hands down. Heretic brings two skills that can heavily Overhit above their shown damage % to be even heavier-hitting than most Awakened skills plus a defense buff that fully counters the normally soft Mage defense, and Hellbringer gets three more skills that hit entire screens with one self healing to boot.

Guest answered:

Best class you ask? It's thr fighter class, hands down. How? Well let me explain, become rogue then awaken, then max out the skill that allows you to hide. Onced maxed out, you can use it forever, as the buff lasts 37 seconds and cooldown of 34 seconds. The other good things about fighter are the high crits, area damage, moves that stagger enemies, and good evasion. Pour all stats into Dex, you don't need anything else. Im lvl 86 with 267 dex and ever other stat is like 20 because of my equipment. I have one skill point in quick snap(stagger move for canceling enemy attack), max dancing daggers(this skill wrecks everything upclose), and. One point in the poison trap( used to halt all enemy moves and attacks, so free beating!), and lastly maxed buffs/passives in classes fighter/rogue/assassin. And I have 25 million gold, and like 999 freakin large purple potions. As you can see, fighter class is invincible!!!!! Follow my build above and you will see. And yes I saved many of my skill points for until I classed up and for my awakening.

Max the best 2 dps skills on shooter tree, the rasengan look-alike and the range one. Then another dps on shootingstar tree, the second skill. Invest on good armors so you don't have problen dealing with bosses. When you awaken you can change the stat build to 3dex,2str,1con since SS got passive which increases str. Rating: farming 9/10, boss fight 10/10

Guest answered:

I agree in MAGE-Heretic.. The character's strengh is based on the stats.. Put 66.6 of the stat in con. Ant the remaining on int.. Max every defensive passive skill there is. Put only 1 lvl to each skill after final awakening beacuse skill damage will mostly based on your int and weapon.. Hope I helped..

Guest answered:

- best character so far is the SLASHER. Why? Very good in defense, but not as tough as the "TEMPLAR" though, but the slashers attack are extremely superb! Almost 1-3 hits on any mobs and super easy boss kills, infact you can kill a boss just using the "DASH" - just dash, dash, and dash!

Stats - Pure STRENGTH!
- no need to add dex, con, luck or int
- to support you're character defence, rely by the use of secondary gears (the gears that add some of your dex or con)

- in addition, slasher has the most AWESOME equipments! The Great Sword! It's HUGE! Smile

Guest answered:

General Things About the Game:

Dex is your most important stat for ALL classes. For speed leveling anyways. Your skills don't work if they don't hit. I use Templar (Silverwing), and Magician (Heretic), and I put every single stat point into dex for both. I can hit monsters 25+ levels above me. Once I can hit 25 levels above, then I raise luck (didn't start doing that until level 160-ish).

Str/Int won't do a whole lot for your damage- your weapon attack power, enchants, titles, and faerie bonuses do MUCH more. 300 str/int adds about 600 phys attack/magic attack. 300 in Dex will let you hit monsters much higher than you in level. Con isn't so important either. Especially if you get the Ventus set in the store (TOTALLY worth it). I used mine until level 133 (so almost 70 levels!).

On your first play through of the game, try to get to level 114 before beating the game (Find Zsikmond/beat him quest automatically ends the game, but provided you don't fuse/enchant/strengthen/save after resurrection, you can reset to before you beat him). That will mean a TON of Realm's Crack, but it will make your life much easier for the second play through (resurrection), plus all of the items you'll accumulate will really help too (especially pots, elixirs, and herbs). Once you beat the game the first time, which you can do around level 80, the game gets harder. Monster levels increase (109+), and you lose 2nd and 3rd level ascended skills (which REALLY sucks). It becomes a lot harder to level, so if you are at level 114, it will be easier. But it will still be slow leveling. If you have a second character that has recurrected, it gets even easier. I have a level 195 templar/silverwing, and a level 119 magician/heretic. I used my templar to grind Battle Field Tomb, and Swamp until I had a full set of level 114 legendary magician gear, which wasn't that hard, and when my Heretic resurrected at level 114, he had a full set of +10 legendary gear with enchantments.

Crabs, devils, mushrooms, water elemantals, and air elemental drops are your best friends (when it comes to your faerie bonuses). Crab drops give item drop % increases, devils give hit increase, mushrooms increase experience, water elemantals phys attack increase, and air elementals give magic attack. It's almost impossible to get the orange/rare drops in the first play through, so concentrate on the yellow drops.

Fusion. Kind of confusing. No guides either. Equipment-wise, fusing the same item gives you a chance at a stronger item. But you can also fuse 2 different equips to give you a random equip. You should stick to fusing the same colors- blue with blue, yellow with yellow, orange with orange, you can even fuse two green/legendary items together to get a totally different green item, and you can fuse two of the same greens to get the same item with a different/random title (those last two are REALLY important). You can also fuse 2 different oranges to get a random green! Success chance goes down as strength increases Blue>Yellow>Orange>Green, so keep that in mind. What I do is save all the equips I get from dungeons, fuse all the blues into yellows (or other blues that I want), fuse yellows into oranges (or other yellows I want), and oranges into greens (or other oranges I want). All of my public storage slots are unlocked, so I have a lot of storage space... So this method plus grinding villages for tokens will really help you to get the items you are after. Also, I have a TON of cash so I am perfectly fine wasting 2 green equips I can't use just for a chance at a green I can use.

Enchanting. Also confusing. Did you know that certain enchantments will only show up on certain pieces of armor? In short, your weapon, head, and feet get offensive enchants, while your gloves, chest, and shield get defensive enchants. Here's a quick run down of the important ones.

Weapon, head, feet- Skill +1, Absorb MP, Hunt MP, Weapon Power, Phys Attack, Magic Attack

Chest, hands, shield- Absorb HP, Hunt HP, HP %, Def %, Item Drop %, Exp %.

Enchant x2 will show up on all pieces, and you can have 2 on each piece! For head I use Skill +1/Enchant x2/Enchant x2 (+4 skill levels). Skill +1/Skill +1/Enchant x2 is the same thing. Feet- Skill +1/Phys Attack +4%/Phys Attack +4% (Enchant x2 will work too, but you waste a Skill +1 because +5 skill is max). Weapon- Weapon Attack 5%/Enchant x2/Enchant x2. You can use higher level enchant stones trying to get higher weapon/attack bonuses, but it's tough to get them! For the other pieces (chest, gloves, shield), that's up to you. I personally use Item drop 1%/enchant x2/enchant x2 (for 4% drop) on all three for +12% drop rate, plus honor drop (purchased title, 15% drop), and crab legs for faerie for a total of +39% drop rate. I use templar mainly, so HP's aren't a problem, and my armor is so high I don't really take any damage. For less armored characters, a combination of HP's, DEF %, and absorb HP's would be more practical. I get Absorb HP/MP When Hitting +0.3% from back gear and secondary gear. Those are two tough titles to get, but they are really nice to have on back gear, secondary gear, or even accessory if you can get them.

Guest answered:

There aren't only one right answer about that. Each class has avantages and disadvantages by it's own. The choise will depend exclusively in what kind of fight you want. In example, if you like a character which can survive a combo from many monsters at same time, should go for TEMPLAR.
If you want a strong hitter, you could go for SLASHER or MAGICIAN, whether you like a close combat char (SLASHER); or a ranged one (MAGICIAN)
Instead, if you like a more flexible combat style, capable to change between close combat and ranged combat, with a high attack speed, you should go for FIGHTER

Guest answered:

The strongest for me would be the Mage > Heretic > Hell bringer

Mage = Not much damage early and hard to kill things because you don't have any strong skills at this point and no physical damage before you get to heretic (Save 10skill points for class change at level 20+)

Heretic = If you manage to get here, then your hard work has payed off. Level up (Soul Slash) and (Panic Death) both to lvl5 then max it asap (If you combo Soul Slash > Panic Death at the same time there's a BUG that it hits the whole map, IF YOU HAVE ENOUGH DAMAGE THEN YOU CAN 1HIT THE WHOLE MAP and it only have 5sec CD = EASY LIFE)

HELL BRINGER = AOE WHOLE MAP SKILL THAT SUCKS EVERYTHING TO OBLIVION /AOE OP SKILLZ/ AOE OP SKILLZ / OP SKILLZ.

I defeated the final boss without a scratch and under 20sec at lvl 90 with mediocre items.
(Thats how strong it is)

PS : it's really hard going back at extreme mode since your OP SKILLZ are reset and you only have physical damage and mediocre mage skills.

Silver Wing is by far the most spectacle class.. why? use only two kind of spell.. the buff from silver night that blocked all incoming attacks.. den the aoe first skill of silverwing.. that would definitely outclass boss..
ScayrDcaT answered:

For me best is Templar on to silver wing, I can easily class S villages w/ "0 hits" and specially w/ boss fights, I can just stand there and wait for my Sacred Gleam(Silver Knight Skill (2nd Job)) to kill it, and 0 dmg is done to my char. No matter who's the boss is even Endless Satan, but you should have the "Silver Wing" buff skill in order for them to have 0 dmg to you, the buff that gives you 20,000 def, here's my fb (Fleigh Hero) , if you want some good items just message me I'm willing to help

There are three things that I generally look at when it comes to each class: Offense, which is how quickly you can get things killed. This can be in the form of basic attacks, dash attacks, and skill damage; Survivability, which is how well a character can avoid getting killed. This can be in the form of HP and DEF, invincibility, Block, Control skills, and so on; and Skillset, which is how useful the skill set of the class is, including all three of it's class changes and awakening sets.

The ranking in my opinion for classes that are best, along with their best class change, are the following, in order:
1: Fighter (Assassin)
Before you can kill anything, first you have to be able to hit it. While the first playthrough won't make this much of a problem, this will absolutely bite you in the ass come Rebirth, when almost enemy is likely able to avoid your attacks. Dexterity solves this, which is why the Dexterity-based Fighter takes the cake. The Fighter itself can also avoid attacks with the help of control skills and an invincible dash. It has low damage scaling, meaning that skill-damage is abysmal, but high attack speed and critical rate allows you to make up for it with basic attacks.

In terms of Class change, you can choose between the Assassin if you want to focus more on single-target fighting, or the Grappler if you want to focus more on AoE. While the Grappler has control skills which can be arguably invaluable in a boss fight, the trouble comes when you hit rebirth and start fighting enemies that might avoid your attacks. Better to rely on the hiding and dodging capabilities of an Assassin, rather than risk your control skill missing a boss and leading to your death. The Shooting Star loses out since it focuses too much on skill-based damage, and packs two buffs which aid with physical and defense, which are things that the Fighter doesn't work as well with.

2: Templar (Necroslayer)

Without dexterity, you're next best bet is to make sure you can dish out more punishment than you can take. While one can argue that this would mean that the other two classes would be better, the matter of landing your attacks again makes things more troublesome. It's thus better off relying on defense rather than offense, as your defense will be more reliable. The Templar shines out in this regard. It's not as if the Templar lacks any offensive capabilities, as it strikes the balance between attack speed and raw damage scaling, meaning that it can rely on both it's skills and normal attack combos. The skillset that comes with the Templar is nothing to laugh about come Class Change, where it can choose between the tanking Silver Wing, the balanced Undertaker and the bloodthirsty Necroslayer.

Although the Silver Wing is more defensive, the lack of offensive skills and surplus of defensive skills can bite a player in the ass; With too many defensive options that will likely be unused, and lackluster offensive prowess, it loses out to the other two class changes. The Necroslayer shines out better, as it has the most offensive kit with three skills that can hit the entire map, a normal attack buff that can melt any boss's HP in seconds, and several control skills that prevent the enemy from attacking at all. It also has the ability to avoid death, which can be handy in a pinch. The Undertaker is a viable alternative, for players who want a safer play.

3: Slasher (Blood Emperor)

Between the two damage-centered classes, the Slasher is more reliable, as it is less reliant on skills for damage and has a decent amount of defensive power to hold it's ground, coupled with a spectacular dash attack that knocks up enemies. Because of this dash skill, you don't really need to worry too much about control skills, opening up your options better. The attack speed of this character, however, is terrible; it has the slowest attack rating, meaning that you will have to take advantage of cancelling out animations with either your dash attack or your skills if you want to avoid leaving any opening for your enemy to counter should your attack miss, come rebirth.

The Blood Emperor is preferrable since it's kit resembles that of a Fighter, with the increase in attack speed and Critical. You could alternatively go with the other two class changes if you wish for a more burst-type game, but it's more reliable to focus on quick and reliable normal attacks come rebirth, which is why the Fighter dominates the chart in the first place.

4: Magician (Hell Bringer)

This class has powerful late-game capabilities, as it possesses magic damage, something that can easily wreck an enemy's defense on hit. However, early game has it struggling heavily, with a sub-optimal set of skills to begin with and lack of firepower with it's basic attack. This is especially troublesome in Rebirth, where most enemies will outlevel your character, and low defense and attack will spell your death very often.

Hell Bringer has the highest damage output of all the three classes, and the use of the scythe helps offset the abysmal normal attack damage that the Magician possesses. Alternatively, the Summoner allows for a more conservative, defensive playstyle.
