The red dots on the map are brontoteriys unless your hunting something else so what you do is go to it until it is in sight and well ya shoot it

Botanarys are the easiest to shoot, for experienced players. When using a pistol, it will take two or more shoots when you hit it. If you hit it and it runs off go to where it was standing and find the blood trail. When you find it, follow it, but watch the map once and awhile to make sure you aren't so close that it will charge. If it gets two far away go to the menu and press relocate. Dont press to close to it but not to far away either. When you find it shoot it.
