Vierne wont give me the recipe for soothing balm..how do I get the potion, or get her to give it to me?

If this is for sunclaw, then did you find the dead drake body on the beaches? If not, approach it, harvest the object on the body, then go to sunclaw. Afterwards, you have to talk to somebody in the village of karn, who is vierne I believe, and she will give you the recipe
