Look for Silver and Gold Chests in particular as these contain weapons that can increase your crew member's atk and hp.

Anchors and cannon balls are heavy weapons and are particulalry effective at clearing enemy shields made of debris, they are best used in heavily-littered levels.

A weapon will do the most damage when it has been launched at the mamimum speed.

There will be times where an enemy pirate will hide behind a natural wall that will only allow a tiny opening to wedge a weapon through. In those circumstances use the pirates that wield bows and harpoons.

Earn rewards like Rep points and Jolly Rogers by taking your crew members out to open sea to battle other players.

Uprade your pirates using the gems you receive when you are victorious at a level to help your pirates reach their max level. You will earn a bronze, silver, or gold skull depending on the amuount of gems you collected in the level.

You will get a special ability whenever you equip a pirate with a weapon or item of clothing that rates 'Uncommon' or above. The special ability you receive depends on the weapon or item of clothing and can be used once per round. Remeber that you still get your regular turn afterwards.

Keep an eye out for Treasure Crates in stages as they contain rare gems which can unlock or upgrade your crew members.

Look out for enemies that drop crates as they could contain silver keys.

A new crew member will be unvieled whenever a world has been cleared.

If you want weapons which are being used by the enemy you can get them by seeking and recruiting the pirates that have them.

Whenever possible use treasure gems to unlock new crew members.

Remember that turn order depends on where you place a pirate on your ship, basically the pirates near the front have their turn earlier.
