Life
You will automatically lose a life if you exit a puzzle before it is complete.
Saving Animals
Whenever you save an animal you will earn +1,000 point bonus.
3 Star Rank
The only way a 3 Star Rank can be achieved is by clearing the entire puzzle board of ALL the blocks.
High Scores
These can be achieved by linking as many blocks as possible in a single go. Don't forget to pay attention to the goal while doing this otherwise you could end up failing the puzzle.
Block Matches
You can continue making block matches while the animal is being 'freed' from the board. The ability to do this comes in useful when there are cases where a pair might be moved if the animal were to move.
Multiple Animals
When you have multiple animals to free try to prevent them form accidentally slipping behind or falling into crevices by keeping them as level as possible. Also keep an eye on the screen because if it drops below the location of the animal you will immediately fail the level.
Power-Ups
Try to save power-ups for when you really need them as they can provide that one final move that can make the difference between a passed or failed puzzle.
Cannot Match
Use a power-up or the rocket to clear the column when you find yourself in a situation where you have one column of blocks you cannot match and one pair you can. Unless it is a limited moves puzzle the puzzle will automatically end whenever you match the last pair.
Time
Don't rush, spending a few extra seconds checking the blocks and where they will end up can sometimes make the difference between passing or failing a puzzle.
