To remain competitive it is important that you equip your players with any gear that you have picked up. To see what is available go to the 'Equipment' screen and scroll through. Items in white will not cost you any money but items that are marked in green need to be purchased with coins. If you need more coins you can always buy them using real money at the in-app purchase store.
