When you start the game Om Nom has a tiny lair that has very little room, you can though work towards an expansion by collecting certain items for the renovation. These items are listed on the right side of the screen and most of them are randomly dropped by Om Nom when you play with him but if you are impatient you can always buy them.

Keep an eye out for the notices about a sale on food, furniture, or accessories for Om Nom as they are a good opportunity to stock up as these sales usually bundle items and then slash the price.

Give Om Nom free boosts by visiting the tree in the game room and plucking off the candy and stars and feeding them to him. These treats regenerate often so it is worth visiting the tree frequently.

The longer you manage to last in a game the more chips you will collect which means the more coins you will earn.

It usually takes Om Nom about three hours of sleep to fill up his energy meter, you can though wake him up from his nap before the three hours are done but his energy meter will not be totally replenished and he will be a bit cranky.

You can earn rewards by competing the tasks that are pinned to Om Nom's window. Doing these tasks will also teach you how to interact with Om Nom.

Keep an eye on what food fill up Om Noms hunger meter as certain foods only offer a little satisfaction. The best strategy is to splurge a bit so you keep him full for longer.

Sometimes when you tap on the shower knob when you are cleaning Om Nom you will earn Experience. Although this does not always work it is worth trying as you can earn a lot of experience quickly doing this.

Whenever Om Nom gets dirty he becomes sad, to make him happy again you need to give him a wash. Om Nom enjoys this and it can be done as often as you like (don't forget to brush his teeth).

Instead of waiting for Om Nom to nap when you have run out of energy you can still play games in the games room to earn gold to fill up his energy meter.
