Make sure you have a sufficient amount of play ahead before buying these expensive upgrades for your tank where the bonus effect each one provides only lasts for a limited amount of time.

Try to upgrade your tank evenly across all categories in the Armoury. In the early stages though it is probably more beneficial to focus on upgrading the engine so that you have the speed to get out of danger quickly.

This feature which is accessed at the 'Menu' screen allows you to join up with other players when you enter combat. A Legion has a maximum of 50 members and you may have to wait for your application to be approved by the Legion creator.

If you are losing the battle and need to retreat look for gaps between buildings that you can squeeze into.

Take the defensive approach of staying out of sight of your opponents to begin with so you give yourself the oppotunity of learning the layout of the map before going on the offensive.

Don't stay out in the open making yourself a target for everyone, search the map for a place to hide so you can make a sudden entrance which will catch the enemy unprepared.

A good strategy to survive this game is to wait when you see two tanks going head to head and then when they've whittled down each others health step in and finish both of them off.
