The time limit for a journey is short so make sure that before you depart you plan your route, it is especially important that your followers avoid an encounter with the Champions as they do not stand a chance against them.

Astari festivals can draw followers away if they are not happy. To help prevent this you need to spend your gems whenever these festivals are held on items like a fountain or keep building trees with stored belief. Just make sure the smiley face on the slider to the right is kept above the red mask.

Whenever you see floating multi-coloured discs it is to indicated that there is a chest nearby. To reveal the location of the chest you will have to peel back layers of the land. Tap the chest when you have found it to access all it's contents which can vary from a batch of stickers to gems.

Always look to expand and increase the size of your empire. Keep an eye out for a blue figure outline with a hammer above a house as this indicates a property can be built nearby. Remember that the bigger your empire, the less likely your followers are to take refuge with the Astari.

It is not necessary to individually tap every single home to collect their belief, it is easier to grab your belief in one large group by holding down your finger and draging it around the screen.

When you find yourself short of belief you can increase it by taking down trees and chipping away at rocks, just hold your finger down on either and they will be destroyed. Sometimes rocks will give you up to 40 belief at a time.

Rocks will decrease the belief you receive so remove them from habitable areas.

Increase the belief of your followers by placing trees near their homes, place them strategically around a cluster of houses for the best result.

Make your wheat grow a lot quicker by using Rain of Purity on crop fields. Doing this will also help feed starving followers when you are short of food and cannot wait five hours for the next batch.

You will lose more belief the deeper you go when shaping the land so make sure know how you want to sculpt it before you begin.
