Always observe the strategies of other players and change yours accordingly. For example, if your opponent has decided to use Magic towers you can flood their paths with scarabs.

Sell off towers that you have that are no longer effective and useful and buy new towers which will have renewed magic and supplies to replace them. Don't forget that if the situation demands you can take out Magic towers and replace them with Archer towers.

Magic Spells such as meteors are a force multiplier and if used at the precise time can be very effective in destroying large groups of enemies.

Make sure you spend resources in the barracks to power up your troops and to unlock new troops as the bigger troop variety you have the more battle strategies you will be able to execute.

It is important that you upgrade the defensive tower headquarters as it gives your towers the ability to power up and upgrade in battle.

Upgrade your city with your winnings from battles whenever possible so you have the maximum possible resource gain and troop strength.

A good tactic during battle is to save up your Prayer Towers so you are able to dispense a large number of troops at the same time. The best time to release them is to wait until the neutral attackers come out in large numbers as this will cause a horde when they mix together which the other player will then have to deal with.

Focus on loading up on defensive towers to begin with so you are able to stop neutral troops from attacking you. Just doing this alone will win you most PvP battles.
