Gems are the games premium currency and to get them you either have to pay real money or from the daily login bonus. If you are contemplating on buying Gems the best time to get them is when they are on sale.

If you successfully complete a level with a random suggested character you will earn a single Bounty Ticket. If you take along an in-game friend or guildmate you will get four Bounty Tickets. Opening Bounty Chests to access the extra loot cost 10 Bounty Tickets.

Check missions before playing them to see what kind of loot is likely to be found so you can level up specific weapons and armour quicker. For example, if you have a new set of Fire amour you want to level up you will want to replay missions where Fire items are dropped.

The best loot in the game can be found in the Gear Chests which cost 50 Gems to open.

There are five elements in the game and each of them is stronger against one and weaker against another. The relationship circle is as follows: Fire - Nature - Dark - Light - Water - Fire.

Don't agonise over your initial choice of weapon as you will be able to switch between two sets of weapons on the fly and gain another one before the end of the tutorial levels.

You can still improve max level items by using a mechanic called Evolution which is found in the Inventory menu. Evolving equipment requires Gold and specific evolution items that can be found either in chests or as drops in daily missions. The Evolution process makes equipment more powerful by allowing it to be leveled up to the next tier.

You can level up your favourite equipment through the Fusion process by sacrificing items and paying a certain amount of Gold to make your favourite weapons and armour more powerful. Using four pieces of equipment of the same element will give you a chance at Super Fusion which grants special bonuses if it succeeds that cannot be gained any other way.

A good strategy before heading into a mission is to check what kinds of enemies you will encounter and equip weapons and armour accordingly. For example if you are going to be facing mostly Dark enemies you will want some Nature armour and weapons equipped.

The monster cards that you find are minions and are used in Stronghold PvP mode. Each minion card can be used at designated places around your Stronghold to help defend your base from PvP raids. To view all the different locations that you can place minions go to the 'Stronghold' menu and select the 'Modify Stronghold' option. You will also have to fight opposing minions when embarking on a raid.

You can earn Gold and Soul Points by doing Stronghold raids and selling unwanted minions. Soul Points are a special currency that is exclusively used in Multiplayer mode. To protect your Soul Points from raids by opposing players you can invest in a Shield which will temporarily make your base off-limits to PvP raids.
