Remember that the luck potions can also be used to obtain useful unique items as well as increase the Luck stat.

The Luck stat can be manipulated to your advantage by merging luck potions to equipment. Critical hits deal a lot of damage so the actual power of the item becomes almost irrevelant. This trick is particularly effective when done with basic equipment.

To beat the stages where there is more than one element of monster you will need to take your sword out of it's element and make it neutral by mixing the opposite element with it.

If you take your sword and merge an attack potion into it you will increase it's attack power. Mixing a defense, luck or health potion into your sword will add that statistic to it.

You can always grind old battles if you don't have the necessary requirements to get good equipment.

Although the battles happen automatically you can control what you equip your knight with before and after each battle.
