Battle Odyssey Cheats and Tips

Hold onto any four square patterns you have in your element table if you have a boss battle coming up as they come in useful as they have the ability to prevent a massive amount of damage being done to you.

One of the best special patterns that players can unlock and trigger as they clear elements is a square of four similar elements as it has a defensive ability that allows each of your characters to dish out damage and also provide increased protections for you for the next three turns.

Before you launch into the next level select a friendly character to take with you that counters that boss. Friendly characters are those that you can 'borrow' from other players.

Look at the element that the boss is utilising before launching into the next level. You can see this in the upper-right hand corner of the level info screen.

Although it is good to have one of each element in your team to counter any type of enemy element you encounter you can still do well by just using your super strong characters.
